I am a researcher in applied economic theory. Much of my research is on the role of information in the economy and society. My work is mainly motivated by getting deep theoretical insights into important practical topics, such as debate, privacy, coordination or rumors.
I am Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI and Charles University, Prague, and researcher at the Czech Academy of Sciences. From 2020 to 2022 I am Principal Investigator of the PRIMUS research project "Information Revelation and Privacy in the Information Age" at Charles University. Until 2019, I was Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.
I have taught microeconomics and game theory at the universities of Copenhagen and Oxford and won teaching awards at both places.
